Exercises that Can Improve Sex - 04/21/2012

The experts say that exercise can make a person feel sexy and can improve sex as well as sexual satisfaction. That’s apart from its major bonus of toning your muscles and giving your more strength.

It’s a fact that many people who are conscious of their bodies don’t mind spending on going to the gym, getting a personal instructor, buying video tutorials and magazines all for the sake of boosting their sexual drive. But if you’re a practical individual, there are lots of information you can get from the internet these days without having to pay for it.

So what are some exercises that can help you achieve your goal of performing better on the bed? Below are several recommended by physiologists. Most are best for men but they can be done by women as well.

The pushup is, obviously, great for men. One important thing to make sure while you’re doing this, whether you’re just starting out or doing this regularly, is to always keep your back straight. And start slow every time.

For starters, you can do it against the wall. Three sets with 12 to 15 repetitions are ideal. For those ready to progress, you can do the knee pushups on the floor. When you think you’re ready for the main thing, go ahead and stretch your entire body and do the hand-and-toe pushup on the floor.

Working out your abs is another thing. Keep in mind that both men and women need to use their abdominal muscles during sex.

Crunches are best. You can do the traditional position – lie on your back with knees bent and then with your hands behind your head, bring up your body making sure your shoulders are lifted on the ground. About three to five sets of 15 to 20 repetitions would do.

The pelvic tilts are also good. You can do this standing or lying down. Just straighten your lower back and pull your belly button in until your back touches the wall or the floor.

For women, the Kegels exercise is best. To do this, just squeeze your pelvic muscles for about three seconds and then relax. Your target should be the muscles that you normally contract when you want to stop the flow of urine.

The other exercises need to be done in consultation with a professional and should be done at the gym. When done right, they can keep your body strong and ready for your best sexual performance.

The deadlift is meant to keep your back strong. It also helps tone your legs and torso. This is done by lifting a barbell or dumbbells from the ground starting from a bent-over position. The pushing and pulling exercise is also recommended. At the gym, this can be done using the cable crossover machine.

The torso side bends and twists can also be done at the same machine. These exercises are best for making the upper body strong.

Do these exercises to ensure endurance and satisfaction during sex. But don’t forget to wear your condoms every time for a worry-free experience. Never take the condom for granted. There are many types you can use today including the thinnest one that feels like second skin.
